Marine Ventilation Water-Tight Weather Louver Mist Eliminator
General:
Corrosion is mainly caused by water and salt fog of air inlet at offshore platforms or vessels, which will damage machines, equipment and devices and increase the workload and costs in maintenance. For this case, mist eliminator will be the best choice to resist the waves, rains, water vapor and salt fog, also can work as a weather-tight louver. Mist eliminator is designed to work with small pressure drop, so the airflow will not be influenced and keep sufficient air supply to machines and equipment.
This item is applied in conditions with less moisture content and natural ventilation, also can be installed close to the shutter at back of chimney.
Working Principle:
Mist Eliminator can remove the water from the airflow. When airflow goes through the airfoil blades, the water drop can be separated by gravity and flow into the bottom of blades.
